In my opinion, technology and digital media has had a huge impact on society, in regards to society changing also. I believe there is much more media within society as there was years ago. More and more people are also now joining social media as a way to both socialise and a chance for employment. Unlike years ago people can now yous the internet to promote their business and draw in customers, they can upload profiles to promote their employment and make it easier for employers to find them. Also unlike years ago, for example before 2000 people can now use many forms of digital media to navigate themselves on journeys via satnavs and google maps. Although there are lots of people who do not use the internet they may still reiceve information though the news or other sources. One major source, YouTube is also commonly used for things like self-educating for people who may want to learn things in their own time from video tutorials provided by YouTubers, for example there are lots of tutorials to learn the guitar online at many different levels. I also believe this is effecting the younger generation as they are often given gadgets  to entertain themselves. For example many mothers may give children their phones to watch programmes online or games to entertain them. I believe this will grow in future years as technology and social media is continuing to grow within society and has over the past number of years.
